Hear (heard/heard):
“The policeman heard someone scream and ran to investigate.”
“What have you heard about the new boss?”

Hide (hid/hidden):
“She hid the presents so that no one would find them.”
“The pirates had hidden the treasure in a cave.”


Hit (hit/hit):
“In the ninth inning, their star player hit a home run.”

“After our friend had been hit by a car, we went to see him.”


Hold (held/held):
“He held the sword and waited for his adversary.”
“The gate had been held up by pillars.”


Hurt (hurt/hurt):
“That dog scratched me and it hurt.”
“The man had been seriously hurt in the accident.”


Keep (kept/kept):
“Their parents kept them in the backyard so they wouldn't wander into the woods.”
“I wish I would've kept that old coin. It would be worth a lot now.”

Hear (heard/heard):

La policía oyó a alguien gritar y corrió para investigar.
“What have you heard about the new boss?”

¿Qué has escuchado sobre el nuevo jefe?


Hide (hid/hidden):
“She hid the presents so that no one would find them.”

Ella escondió los regalos para que nadie los encontrara.
“The pirates had hidden the treasure in a cave.”

Los piratas habían escondido el tesoro en una cueva.


Hit (hit/hit):
“In the ninth inning, their star player hit a home run.”

En el novena entrada, su jugador estrella hizo un home run.

“After our friend had been hit by a car, we went to see him.”

Después de que nuestro amigo fue chocado por un carro, fuimos a verlo.


Hold (held/held):

Tomó su espada y esperó por su adversario.
