Errores Comunes en Inglés: "Easy to me" en vez de "easy for me"

Hey this is Joel from http://www.InglesAvanzado.org. In this lesson, I’m going to talk about a common mistake that a lot of English students make.

The mistake is saying, “It’s easy to me...” “It’s hard to me...” Or, “It’s difficult to me...”

You don’t use the word, “to.” You need to use the word, “for.”

“It’s easy for me.”

“It’s hard for me.”

“It’s difficult for me.”

“For” – not “to.” Alright, so I’ll give you some more examples.

“It’s really easy for me to make new friends.”

“It wasn’t very hard for me to study for the exam.”

“I don’t think it will be very difficult for you to find a new job.”

Alright, so remember, “It’s easy for me...” “It’s hard for you.” “It’s difficult for them.”

I hope this was useful for you and that you can correct your English to sound more fluent and more natural.

Don’t forget to check out my website, http://www.InglesAvanzado.org for more of my lessons, my mp3 conversational course for download, and native English speakers who you can practice with and get corrections.

Thanks for watching.
